Ventilation Systems Operation Ranges of action ATEX	Korfmann Lufttechnik offers ATEX certified equipment for the IM2c groups – flame proofness for the coal mining and II2GD – explosion protection for other applications. A ventilation system has to be of special design to ensure flame proofness and explosion protection. Sparking is to be avoided any time. A suitable degree of protection of the motor used is required. Specific gap sizes at the impeller and a suitable combination of material is necessary to avoid any sparking (for coal mines according to prEN 1710).
